A moment of appreciation for Sid the Kid

I cant describe how much I would have liked to see this happen, but the other day while we were sleeping here, the Penguins won the Stanley Cup! Watching last year was a great way to spend the summer nights. I guess you cant really complain about being in Europe, but it would have been great to see this too! There are some things you just end up missing a bit.. clean clothes, the Red Sox, grilling, real beer, football being the sport where they throw the pigskin, good music... and of course, Lord Stanleys cup.

    Drew,
    Had you been here you would have spent an intense and exciting evening with me, but since you were in Europe I have the game recorded. When you return and get to Pittsburgh (city of champions once again). We will watch the game in it's entirety and enjoy just like the real time thing! Take care come home and say thanks to St Peter.

    Sounds good! I was hoping there would be some way to watch it - should have known you all would be on top of that one. We stopped in and had a little prayer in the cathedral at St. Peters. Good end of the trip, and safe travelling for everyone

    You've only been there 2 weeks! How do you miss all of that already?? And I'm sooo excited that you got pizza and gelato behind the pantheon...THE BEST! I hope you asked to sample every kind one at a time until they cut you off. ...your blog makes me sad :-(
